Autumn Rhea Carpenter, Writer
Autumn Rhea Carpenter won an essay contest hosted by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in the 3rd grade. She earned $10 with her essay, called “The Walls of the Alamo,” along with the feeling that she’d hit the big time. She’s been living the dream ever since.
Autumn has enjoyed writing her entire life, and has written professionally for print and digital media for the past 20 years. Her superpower is knowing how to listen to a story and tell it in the right voice so that the audience truly hears it.
